For almost 2 months the Scrappy Project changed as visitors to the Art Gallery participated in adding and rearranging 6" blocks made by our members. We had a sew-in for the Scrappy Quilt Project on March 28th and thought we might get it sewn together in 4 hours. Wow, what a group of eager workers!! We finished in 3 hours and then designed an amazing backing with the extra blocks. Very creative efforts by Paula and Arlene. Check out our Scrappy Quilt for Big Sisters and the dynamite backing. Notice all the little sticky notes to keep ourselves organized. The last photo is the finished top back on the design wall but only until March 31st when it will come down.
Now we want to complete the quilt with some wonderful quilting.
