Here’s another great Guild Anniversary Event. Bonnie Allen challenged members to create a 40” square quilt for the 40th Anniversary using the colour Rudy – the gemstone for the 40th anniversary.
We had 12 quilts entered and 8 were chosen by members to be submitted to the AQS Show in Grand Rapids. Fingers crossed for Grand Rapids.
The members’ choice quilts were made by Arlene Duckert, Janet Dudek, Joan Maguire, Pat More, Wanda Philbin, Freda Porter, Pat Preudhomme, and Karen Van Ooteghem. Ribbons for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place were presented to Pat Preudhomme, Janet Dudek, and Karen Van Ooteghem at the April Guild meeting.
